Coins on Notes
Right I’m really starting to get annoyed how cashiers at supermarkets hand you your change back. They always place notes in palm of your hand and then the coins on top. There are several reasons why this annoys me.
1) The coins slide all over the place and many a time they end up on the floor.
2) If you do close your fist to stop the coins sliding you end up crumpling a brand new crisp note.
3) Because I paid by a note I have already got my note section of my wallet open but with the coins on top you have to slide coins off your hand into another compartment in your wallet. Changing compartments with one hand while trying not to drop everything is hard enough.
This is always the way in supermarkets…. Do they teach their staff to do it that way? Some one that works in a supermarket please tell me, because every time I go into a corner shop they had the money back the correct way: Coins in palm of hand and notes between thumb and Index Finger. That way I can easily slot my notes into the notes compartment, that is already open, keeping firm grip of coins in palm of hand.
Please cashiers hand the notes and coins the right way, well my way ![]()
